The Bernal Owls

This winter two Great Horned Owls took up residence on Bernal Hill. Mary Ann brought a camera on her morning walk and got this nice photo of one of the owls. We published it in our printed newsletter and here on our website. Soon our office got regular updates on the life of the Bernal owls. Then Sharon Beals mailed us a couple of her own owl shots, and the following week Art Siegel contributed a whole series. Enjoy. Update - There will be an Owl Memorial on Tuesday August 7. Remembering and celebrating our dear departed pair of Great Horned Owls that graced us with their presence this year. Bring stories, memories, poems, feathers, rodents or pictures if you would like to share them. At the top of the Esmeralda steps at 7 pm Tuesday August 7.
